Our Founders

Torri Allen, a native of Greensboro, N.C., graduated from North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations, and a M.S. in Child and Family Studies. Ms. Allen's goals were to open an agency that catered to helping others help themselves become progressive individuals.

She lives by the motto: "The greatest reward in life is helping someone else achieve success.”

Kristin Jones, a native of Fayetteville N.C., graduated from North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Corrections. Ms. Jones worked as a case manager for six years when she realized not enough agencies catered to the specific needs of individuals with severe mental illnesses. After realizing this was needed in our community, she wanted to provide services individualized to the specific needs of clients. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University.

"If we all waited for the next person to help, we would still be waiting" is her philosophy on life and that’s why she is always the first person without hesitation to lend a helping hand.
